How to Create a Funnel

Use Create Funnel in AtomicFunnel to group pages from one site into a measurable visitor journey. After creation, Atomicat opens the funnel editor so you can connect each step.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • A site in the current workspace with the domain you plan to send traffic to.
  • At least two published pages on that site.
  • Pages that are not already used in another funnel (each page should belong to one funnel for clean analytics).
  • An active project context if your workspace filters assets by project.

Funnel creation organizes pages β€” it does not publish them for you.

Step 1: Open AtomicFunnel

  1. Log in to Atomicat.
  2. Open AtomicFunnel from the sidebar (Funnels area).
  3. Review the funnel list β€” your new funnel appears here after creation.

See Funnels overview for how funnels relate to pages, analytics, and leads.

Step 2: Start Create Funnel

  1. Click Create Funnel.
  2. Enter a Funnel name your team will recognize in reports and the list.
  3. Choose the Site where the pages live.
FieldWhy it matters
Funnel nameAppears in analytics, exports, and the funnel list.
SiteKeeps domains, paths, and page pickers consistent.

You cannot mix pages from different sites in one funnel.

Step 3: Select Pages

  1. Under Pages, select two or more pages from the chosen site.
  2. Confirm only published pages you want in the journey.
  3. Avoid pages already assigned to another funnel β€” they may be missing from the picker or show warnings.

If a page is unavailable, remove it from the other funnel first or pick a different page.

See Manage funnels and Publish a page.

Step 4: Confirm and Open the Editor

  1. Click Confirm (or equivalent) to create the funnel.
  2. Atomicat opens the funnel editor with each page as a card on the canvas.
  3. New funnels start without arrows β€” the journey is not complete until you connect steps.

Step 5: Connect Steps and Save

  1. Drag from the out connection point on one page card to the in point on the next page.
  2. Repeat until every card sits in a single path with no disconnected cards.
  3. Click Save.

Connection rules: one outgoing link per page, one incoming link per page, no loops. See How to connect funnel steps and Connection rules.

Checklist Before Sending Traffic

  • Every funnel step is published.
  • The first page is the URL you send ads and links to.
  • Each card connects to the intended next card.
  • Buttons, forms, quizzes, and products still work on live pages.

Outcome

Your funnel exists in AtomicFunnel with a connected page sequence. Open Analytics after traffic flows to read step metrics, or add more pages later with How to add pages to a funnel.

FAQ

Why is my page missing from the list?

It is almost always because the page is already used in a different funnel. Remove it from the other funnel first, or pick a different page.

Can I start with zero pages and add them later?

You must pick at least two pages at creation time in the current workflow.

Does creating the funnel publish my pages?

No. Funnel creation organizes pages for a journey and analytics. Publishing each page is still a separate page action.

Can I mix pages from different sites?

The creation and editor workflows are site-based. Use pages from the selected site so domains, paths, and analytics stay consistent.
