How to Export or Reset Funnel Analytics

At the top of Funnel analytics, you can download step metrics as a CSV or reset date filters back to the default reporting period.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • Funnel analytics open for the funnel you want to export.
  • The correct date range applied (preset or custom with Search).
  • A browser that allows file downloads.

See How to read funnel analytics and How to filter funnel analytics by date.

Step 1: Set the Reporting Period

  1. Open Funnel analytics for the target funnel.
  2. Choose Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, or Custom.
  3. For Custom, pick start and end dates, then click Search.

Wait for loading to finish so on-screen numbers match the period you want in the file.

Step 2: Export CSV

  1. Click the download icon in the analytics header.
  2. Your browser saves a file named like funnel-metrics-{funnel name}-{date}.csv.

What is in the file

Each row is one step (one page in the funnel). Typical columns:

  • Step name — page name shown in analytics
  • Total visitors
  • Unique visitors
  • Conversion rate (with percent sign)
  • Bounce rate (with percent sign)

The export matches what you last loaded on screen. If the table looks empty, run Search again before exporting.

See Export and reset (reference).

Step 3: Reset Filters (Optional)

Click Reset when you want to:

  • Clear custom start and end dates
  • Switch the period back to the default (Monthly)
  • Reload analytics for that default window

Reset is dimmed or disabled when you are already on the default period with no custom dates.

Reset does not delete your funnel, change page connections, or remove pages.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to try
CSV empty or wrong periodApply dates, click Search, wait for load, export again.
Export missing revenue columnsCSV focuses on step traffic and rates; other tiles may show different data types.
Reset seems disabledYou are already on default Monthly with no custom dates.

Outcome

You have a CSV snapshot of funnel step performance for the selected period, or a refreshed default analytics view after reset.

FAQ

Does export include revenue or sales breakdown?

The CSV export is built around step traffic and rates (visitors, conversion, bounce). Other summary tiles on the screen may show different kinds of data; only what is included in the export columns above will appear in the file.

Will reset delete my funnel or my pages?

No. Reset only changes how the analytics screen filters time. It does not change your funnel layout or your pages.

Should I export before or after changing dates?

Always apply the date range first (including Search for custom), wait for the table to update, then export so the file matches what you see.
