How to Add Pages to a Funnel
Use Add page in the funnel editor when your journey grows — for example an extra upsell step, thank-you page, or qualification page — without recreating the whole funnel.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- An existing funnel open in the editor.
- A published page on the same site that is not already on the canvas.
- Fewer than ten pages in the funnel (product limit).
- The page not assigned to another funnel.
See How to create a funnel and Publish a page.
Step 1: Open the Funnel Editor
- Open AtomicFunnel.
- Select the funnel you want to extend.
- Review the current cards and arrows on the canvas.
Step 2: Click Add Page
- Click Add page in the editor header (next to the add icon).
- The chooser lists eligible pages from this funnel’s site.
Which pages appear
The picker only shows pages that:
- Belong to this funnel’s site
- Are not already on the canvas
- Are not already used in another funnel
That keeps each page in one funnel so analytics stay accurate.
Step 3: Select and Place the New Page
- Choose the published page you want to add.
- Confirm selection — a new card appears to the right of the last card by default.
- Do not save yet if the new card is not wired into the path.
Step 4: Connect the New Step
- Drag from the previous page’s out point to the new page’s in point.
- If the new page sits in the middle of the chain, reconnect the following page as needed.
- Confirm no disconnected cards remain.
See How to connect funnel steps.
Step 5: Save
- Click Save.
- Fix validation errors — unpublished pages and disconnected cards block save.
- Open Analytics later to confirm the new step appears in order.
Limits and Workarounds
- Maximum ten pages per funnel. If you hit the limit, split the journey into two funnels or merge content into fewer steps.
- For longer flows, consider separate funnels per campaign phase.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Page not in picker | Publish it first; remove it from another funnel; refresh the Add page dialog. |
| Maximum pages message | Remove an unused step or split into a second funnel. |
| Save fails after adding | Draw links to include the new card; publish the page. |
Outcome
Your funnel includes the additional published page in a saved, connected sequence — ready for traffic and visible in funnel analytics.

FAQ
Can I add a draft page?
Only published pages belong in a funnel. Publish the page first, then add it.
I removed a page from another funnel but it still does not show
Refresh the editor or re-open the Add page dialog after the other funnel saved so the picker refreshes.
Does adding a page change live URLs?
No. It adds an existing published page to the funnel journey. The page URL stays the same.
