Upload a video

Use New video on Manage videos to start a hosted AtomicPlayer asset.

Before you upload

  • Pick a unique name—the app blocks duplicates already in your list (case-insensitive).
  • Choose a supported format; invalid types show a validation error instead of starting bytes.
  • Stable network matters; very large files rely on resumable upload when the session supports it.

Steps in the modal

  1. Name the video — Required.
  2. Choose the file from disk.
  3. Start upload — Watch percentage progress.
  4. When processing finishes, the row appears under My videos with a thumbnail and duration.

Resume and failures

If an upload stalls, the product may offer resume behavior while the session is still valid. When the resume link expires, you must delete the partial row and start again (see in-app error text).

After upload

Open settings to configure thumbnails, Magic Autoplay, and other engagement options, then embed on a page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I upload without naming first?

No. The title gate prevents anonymous rows that would be hard to find later.

Where do I set allowed domains?

Use Authorize domain from the library header or the settings tab per video—details in Authorize a domain.
