Magic Live Streaming
Magic Live Streaming adds a “live” atmosphere to a pre-recorded AtomicPlayer file—think simulated concurrent viewers or similar social proof cues baked into the hosted embed.
It is not a replacement for a true RTMP / HLS live broadcast. Treat it as a merchandising layer only.
Where to turn it on
- Open Video settings for the hosted file (Cloudflare or Bunny route).
- Enable Magic live streaming (exact label follows your app language).
- When the toggle is on, a number field appears (placeholder text such as “Ex: 3232” in the UI). Enter the count you want the player chrome to emphasize.
- Save editions so the next embed includes the updated behavior.
If the field is empty, the embed generator may still apply a default fallback count in the markup—always preview after save.
Legal and platform policy
Simulated live indicators can be regulated or disallowed by ad networks and consumer-protection rules. Before shipping:
- Run copy past legal and compliance.
- Align with truth-in-advertising obligations in each country you run ads.
- Prefer transparent language (“Previously recorded”) when platforms require it.
Atomicat documentation cannot give legal advice; this page exists so engineers and marketers know where the control lives and that it carries risk.
Interaction with other toggles
- Magic Autoplay — Handles first click psychology; see Magic Autoplay.
- Smart Progress — Adjusts progress bar pacing; see Smart Progress.
- Resume play — Continues sessions; see Resume play.

Frequently asked questions
Does Magic Live Streaming increase real concurrency?
No. It only affects presentation baked into the player asset you embed.
Can I hide the count on mobile?
The product uses one embed for all breakpoints. If mobile needs a different story, consider separate pages or disable the toggle for mobile-specific uploads.
