Authorize domains for AtomicPlayer
Hosted video files only play on origins your library trusts. Authorize domain is how you add marketing domains, staging hosts, or client sites that should be allowed to embed AtomicPlayer.
Open the flow
From Manage videos, click Authorize domain in the header. A modal loads library-level data (allowed referrers / pull zone configuration).
Common controls
- Allow all origins — When enabled, any site can request the embed (fast for testing; weaker for premium content).
- Add external domain — Validates hostnames (invalid formats are rejected) and appends them to the allowed list.
- Save — Persists changes to the video library backing AtomicPlayer.
The UI typically hides the platform’s own marketing domain from the manual list because it is implicitly trusted.
Per-video settings
Inside each file’s settings tab you will still see allowed origins / allow all controls for fine tuning. On some stacks, saving editions also triggers an origins save—both must succeed before you see the saved toast.

Frequently asked questions
My Atomicat page plays but my client’s WordPress does not
Add the client origin via Authorize domain (or allow all temporarily to prove the diagnosis), save, then copy a fresh embed snippet.
Does HTTPS matter?
Always authorize the exact host visitors use (www vs apex). Mismatches count as different origins.
