Image Domain

An image domain is an optional site-related feature that helps eligible accounts manage branded media delivery.

If your account has access to image domain features, you may see options such as Connect Image Domain or Manage Image Domain in the Sites actions menu.

When image domains are useful

An image domain can be useful when:

  • You want media URLs to align more closely with your brand.
  • You manage performance-focused landing pages.
  • You want clearer separation between page URLs and asset URLs.
  • Your account uses modules that support custom image delivery.
  • You need a more professional setup for high-traffic campaigns.

Where to find image domain options

  1. Open Sites.
  2. Find the site with the connected custom domain.
  3. Open the actions menu.
  4. Choose Connect Image Domain or Manage Image Domain if available.

If you do not see this option, your plan, module access, site setup, or account configuration may not include image domains.

Requirements

Image domain availability may depend on:

  • A connected custom domain
  • Plan access
  • Enabled modules
  • Account setup
  • Site configuration
  • Product rollout status

Best practices

  • Configure the main custom domain before configuring image-related domains.
  • Follow the DNS values shown by Atomicat exactly.
  • Test the site after changing image-domain settings.
  • Avoid changing image-domain DNS during active campaigns unless necessary.
  • Contact support if the option should be available but does not appear.
