Old Templates
Old templates are legacy page templates connected to older Atomicat builder workflows.
Some accounts may still see or use old templates depending on account configuration, historical usage, or migration state.
When old templates may appear
Old templates may appear when:
- The account has legacy template access.
- The user has old template mode enabled.
- The page was created with an older builder version.
- The account has access to historical template categories.
- The team is migrating older campaigns into newer workflows.
Old template categories
Legacy categories can include:
- Sales or landing pages
- VSL pages
- Signup pages
- Presell pages
- Upsell pages
- Academy pages
- Training-specific categories
Some categories are shown only when the account has the required access.
Old templates vs current templates
| Option | Recommended use |
|---|---|
| Current templates | New campaigns, Builder 3.0 pages, modern editing workflows. |
| Old templates | Legacy campaigns or accounts that still rely on older builder pages. |
Use current templates whenever possible for new pages.
Creating a page from an old template
When old template mode is active, selecting an old template can create a page using the older builder structure. The page may open in the old builder instead of the current builder.
Best practices
- Use Builder 3.0 templates for new campaigns.
- Keep old templates only for legacy workflows that still need them.
- Test old template pages carefully before publishing.
- Avoid mixing old and new builder workflows unless required.
- Contact support if you need migration guidance.
