How to Use MIA Project Chats

MIA project chats keep Atomicat's AI assistant focused on one project at a time. Instead of mixing multiple brands, offers, or campaigns in a single conversation, project chats use project name, notes, and available workspace context so answers stay relevant to that slice of your account.

Use this guide when you manage several projects and want organized, repeatable AI sessions per brand or campaign.

MIA Project Chats vs General Chats

Chat typeBest for
General chatAccount-wide questions, product help, or tasks not tied to one project.
Project chatBrand-specific planning, page work, funnel review, and campaign questions for one project.

If your question spans multiple brands, use a general chat. If it belongs to one offer or client, use a project chat.

See MIA chat for the general assistant workflow and MIA overview for how MIA fits with AtomicMCP.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • Access to MIA in your Atomicat workspace.
  • At least one project created (or permission to use existing projects). See Projects.
  • Project notes drafted with offer, audience, tone, or compliance details.
  • Plan access for project features if your account gates project management. See MIA limits and access.

Step 1: Open MIA

You can open MIA from several entry points:

Entry pointWhat it does
Sidebar → MIAOpens the full assistant experience.
Dashboard “Ask MIA” barStarts a prompt-ready session from the dashboard.
Floating MIA chatQuick help while working elsewhere in Atomicat.

Pick the entry point that matches how long the session will be. Longer planning sessions work well in the full MIA sidebar view.

Step 2: Select a Project

  1. In MIA, find the project list in the sidebar.
  2. Click the project you want to work on.
  3. If you have more than five projects, check the overflow list for additional names.

The active project determines which context MIA prioritizes in the conversation.

If you cannot create projects

Project management can be plan-gated or limited by role. Ask a workspace owner to:

  • Confirm your subscription includes projects.
  • Assign the correct permissions.
  • Create the project for you with initial notes.

Step 3: Start or Reopen a Project Chat

Start a new project chat

  1. With the project selected, click New chat.
  2. MIA opens a conversation scoped to that project.
  3. Write your first prompt (see examples below).

Reopen an existing project chat

  1. Select the same project in the sidebar.
  2. Click a previous conversation from the chat list.
  3. Continue where you left off.

Project chats show the project name in the subtitle or metadata so you can tell them apart from general chats.

Project notes help MIA reuse your brief every session without repeating the same background.

Add short, factual notes to the project record, such as:

  • Offer name and price point
  • Target country or language
  • Brand tone (professional, direct, emotional)
  • Compliance or legal constraints
  • Main page or funnel URLs
  • KPI targets (CPL, ROAS, conversion rate)

Good note example:

Offer: 12-week fitness program. Geo: Brazil. Tone: motivational but compliant. Main page: /oferta-vsl. Goal: lower CPL on Meta traffic.

Keep notes updated when the offer, URL, or compliance rules change.

Step 5: Ask Project-Scoped Questions

Once the project chat is open, ask questions that reference that project's assets:

GoalExample prompt
Plan a page“Create a landing page outline for this project's main offer.”
Improve copy“Rewrite the hero headline to be clearer for cold traffic.”
Funnel review“What should I test next in this project's funnel?”
Performance“How is this project performing compared to last month?”
Image ideas“Suggest image concepts for this product page.”
Product help“Where do I configure pixels for this project's sales page?”

MIA uses project context only inside that project's conversation, which reduces cross-brand confusion.

What MIA Can Use in Project Chats

Depending on your plan and permissions, project context may include:

ContextHow it helps
Project name and notesGrounds answers in your brief and constraints.
Related pages and funnelsSupports planning and review for that project.
Performance dataEnables analytics-style answers when data is available.
Workspace structureHelps MIA point you to the right Atomicat areas.

If numeric analysis is unavailable, MIA can still help with strategy, copy, and workflow guidance—but it may not include detailed metrics.

Step 6: Organize Chats for Your Team

TipWhy it helps
Rename chats after a milestoneTeammates recognize threads like “Q4 funnel – baseline”.
One topic per chatEasier to search and resume later.
Use Search chatsFind older project conversations quickly.
Start a new chat when switching projectsAvoid mixing context from another brand.

You cannot move an existing chat to a different project from the chat UI. Create a new chat under the other project and copy the relevant summary or prompt.

Best Practices

  • Keep project notes short and factual—MIA works best with clear constraints, not long essays.
  • Separate general product questions from project-specific work using the right chat type.
  • Review AI output before publishing pages, ads, or compliance-sensitive copy.
  • Watch credit or usage messages in MIA; chat usage may differ from builder AI meters.
  • Use Using MIA with pages when editing content directly in the builder.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to try
No project list visibleCheck plan access and permissions for projects.
Answers feel genericAdd or update project notes; name specific pages or funnels.
No performance numbersData may require tracking, permissions, or plan features.
Wrong project contextConfirm the correct project is selected before starting the chat.
Cannot find old chatUse Search chats; check you selected the same project first.

Outcome

You now have a project-scoped MIA workflow. Each brand or campaign can keep its own AI conversation history, notes, and context—making it easier for teams to plan pages, funnels, and copy without cross-contamination between projects.

FAQ

Can one chat move between projects?

Not directly from the chat UI. Create a new chat under the other project and copy the relevant prompt or summary into it.

When should I use a project chat instead of a general chat?

Use project chats when the question is about one brand, offer, or campaign. Use general chats for account-wide product help or tasks that span multiple projects.

Why does MIA not include performance numbers?

Some insights depend on tracking setup, permissions, and plan access. MIA can still help with strategy and content even when numeric analysis is unavailable.

Do project chats share credits with builder AI?

Billing surfaces can differ between MIA chat and builder AI tools. Watch in-app messages for credit or usage limits in each surface.

What should I put in project notes?

Include offer details, geo, tone, compliance constraints, main URLs, and KPI targets. Short factual notes work better than long unstructured text.
