How to Embed a Quiz in a Page or Funnel

You can bring quizzes into campaigns in two common ways:

  1. Link to a published quiz URL from a page button or funnel step.
  2. Embed quiz experience inside a page using the Interactive Quiz element in Page Builder.

This guide covers both patterns so visitors reach the quiz from landing pages and funnels without broken paths.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • A quiz built in AtomicQuiz (or a plan to build steps inline in Page Builder).
  • A page or funnel where the quiz should appear.
  • Published quiz or page URLs for live testing.
  • Leads / webhooks configured if answers feed integrations.

See Interactive Quiz element and Quizzes overview.

Best when the quiz is a standalone destination (ad traffic β†’ quiz URL).

Step 1: Publish the quiz

  1. Finish the quiz in AtomicQuiz.
  2. Publish to site, domain, and slug. See How to publish a quiz.
  3. Copy the HTTPS live URL.
  1. Open the landing page in Page Builder.
  2. Add or edit a Button (or text link) pointing to the quiz URL.
  3. Save and publish the page.

Step 3: Add to a funnel

  1. Open Funnels and select your funnel.
  2. Add the page or paste the quiz URL as a funnel step depending on your funnel setup. See Add pages to a funnel.
  3. Connect previous steps (ad page β†’ quiz β†’ result/thank-you) in the funnel builder.

Test the full chain in incognito.

Option B: Embed with Interactive Quiz Element

Best when the quiz should live inside a landing page layout (hero + inline quiz + offer below).

Step 1: Open the page in Page Builder

  1. Go to Pages and edit the target page.
  2. Select the section/container where the quiz should appear.

Step 2: Add Interactive Quiz

  1. From the element panel, add Interactive Quiz.
  2. Click the element to open the drawer:
    • Name the quiz so it is recognizable in the builder.
    • Add or reorder steps before wiring logic (moving fields with logic may warn you).
    • Open each step’s settings for nested content and style.

Outside dedicated quiz routes, the drawer manages quiz name and content steps. On quiz routes (/quiz paths), controls may switch to quiz-design interface (allow back, logo, etc.).

See Interactive Quiz.

Step 3: Configure steps and logic

  1. Add steps for questions, results, and optional form capture.
  2. Mark fields required only when needed for the next step or result.
  3. Copy field references after required fields for dynamic copy when supported.
  4. Style step containers using nested settings.

Step 4: Save, publish, and test

  1. Save the page.
  2. Publish to your site. See Publish a page.
  3. Test on the live URL:
    • Every answer path
    • Required fields and back navigation
    • Mobile spacing
    • Leads / webhooks if connected

Option C: Funnel Step to Quiz Page

Combine embed + funnel:

  1. Embed quiz on Page A (Interactive Quiz) or publish standalone quiz Page B.
  2. Add Page A or quiz URL as steps in the funnel.
  3. Connect thank-you, checkout, or VSL steps after quiz completion buttons or result links.

Confirm button targets in Flow (AtomicQuiz) or element actions (Interactive Quiz) match funnel URLs.

Best Practices

  • Prefer standalone quiz URLs for pure quiz ad campaigns (simpler tracking).
  • Use Interactive Quiz when the page needs content above/below the quiz.
  • Keep step copy short on embedded quizzes β€” page scroll + quiz steps compound length.
  • Republish page and quiz after webhook or Flow changes.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to try
Quiz blank on live pagePublish page; confirm Interactive Quiz has steps saved.
Button goes to wrong URLRe-check href; use published quiz HTTPS link.
Funnel skips quiz stepVerify step order and outbound links from previous page.
Logic broke after reorderReview warnings when moving fields; retest all paths.
Drawer looks different on /quiz routeExpected β€” quiz design controls activate on quiz paths.

Outcome

Visitors reach your quiz from a landing page button, embedded Interactive Quiz block, or funnel step β€” with live URLs tested and integrations confirmed.

FAQ

Standalone quiz URL vs Interactive Quiz element?

Use a published quiz URL for dedicated quiz traffic. Use Interactive Quiz when the quiz is part of a larger page layout.

Do I publish both page and quiz?

Standalone quizzes need quiz publish. Embedded Interactive Quiz needs page publish. Some setups use both if you link out to a separate quiz URL.

Can one funnel mix pages and quiz URLs?

Yes. Add each step as a page or URL following your funnel connection rules.

Where do embedded quiz leads go?

To Leads and configured webhooks like other forms/quizzes β€” test on the published page URL.

Is Interactive Quiz for one simple question?

No. Use simpler quiz option blocks for single questions; Interactive Quiz is for multi-step flows.
