MIA image library
The Image library is the gallery inside MIA. It aggregates AI-generated images created by the signed-in user.
Opening it
Open MIA, then use the sidebar toggle Images.
What appears
The library shows your newest AI-generated images first. Very large histories may not show every older image at once; use the originating chat or download important assets when you need to preserve them.
Interactions
| Action | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Thumbnail click | Opens the lightbox with prompt + model metadata when present. |
| Arrow navigation | Moves between images inside the lightbox without closing it. |
| Download | Saves the generated image file to your device. |
| Open in chat | Reopens the source conversation when it is still available. If the chat was deleted or the image is not linked to a chat, the UI explains that it cannot open the source. |
| Retry | Re-runs the fetch after errors. |
Empty and error states
- No rows — Shows “No images yet” and invites you to start generating inside MIA.
- Failed fetch — Presents the error string and a Retry button.

Frequently asked questions
Are these the same images as my page CDN uploads?
No. The library lists AI-generated images from MIA. Manual uploads live under normal media / hosting flows.
Can I delete from the library?
Deletion options depend on what your current MIA interface exposes. If no trash icon appears, remove assets from the originating chat or ask support whether cleanup is available.
Why is “Open in chat” disabled?
The image is not linked to an active source conversation, or the source chat was deleted. Download the file if you still need it.
