Create or clone a quiz
From AtomicQuiz (the quizzes list), you can add a quiz in three common ways:
| Entry point | When to use it |
|---|---|
| New quiz | Start fresh and build steps and content yourself. |
| Clone quiz | Copy structure from another quiz’s public URL when your plan supports cloning (the dialog explains limits, including that only certain quiz URLs work with the built-in cloner). |
| Browse templates | Start from a gallery template and apply it to your workspace (see Quiz templates). |
What you usually provide
- A Quiz name — this is the team-facing label in your quiz list. Visitors see the on-quiz titles you set in the builder.
- A Site — quizzes are tied to a site like pages so publishing and domains stay consistent.
- For clone, the URL of the quiz you are allowed to duplicate. Missing or invalid URLs show a validation message.
After you confirm
The app opens the quiz editor so you can add steps, drop blocks, and wire the flow. Nothing is live until you save and publish to a URL on your site.
Frequently asked questions
Why does cloning tell me to use AtomicMCP?
Some quiz URLs are outside what the standard cloner supports. The product may suggest AtomicMCP as an alternative way to recreate complex quizzes with help.
Can I create a quiz without a site?
You need a site in your account so the quiz can be published under a domain you control (or your Atomicat domain, depending on setup).
