Quiz Builder
Quiz Builder is the main editing mode for a quiz. You work with steps (screens in the journey) and blocks (questions, media, buttons, and other components).
Main areas
| Area | What you do there |
|---|---|
| Steps rail | Pick which step you are editing, expand or collapse the list, and keep the journey organized. |
| Blocks library | Drag components onto the canvas—similar categories to the page builder (text, media, buttons, quiz-specific blocks, and so on). |
| Canvas | See the live layout for the current step, select elements, and arrange the experience. |
| Edit panel | When an element is selected, the side drawer shows its content, style, and advanced options. On smaller screens the drawer can be collapsed with the arrow control. |
Saving and safety
- Use Save regularly; the header shows the last saved time when available.
- Undo / redo helps when you experiment with structure.
- Preview opens the quiz in a new browser tab so you can test clicks and navigation before publishing.
Tips
- Name steps clearly so Flow mode stays easy to read later.
- Keep each step focused on one decision when possible—long single steps reduce completion rates.
- After structural changes, open Flow to confirm paths still make sense.
Frequently asked questions
Why can I not add a second quiz option in the same place?
The product blocks two quiz options dropped on the same target where that rule applies; follow the on-screen hint and use separate containers or steps.
Where is “Quiz logic”?
Advanced branching and targets are edited per component and reviewed in [Flow](/quizzes/flow).
