Legacy Categories

Older templates may use legacy categories such as:

  • Landing or sales
  • VSL
  • Signup
  • Presell
  • Upsell
  • Academy
  • Training-specific categories

These categories may appear only for accounts with access to older templates.

Gated Categories

Some template categories are hidden when an account does not have access.

This can apply to:

  • Partner collections
  • Training collections
  • Premium template packs
  • Admin-only templates
  • Feature-specific templates
  • Internal campaign collections

If a user does not see a category, account access is the most likely reason.

Best Practices

  • Select templates by funnel step first and visual style second.
  • Use page templates for full pages.
  • Use section templates to improve or extend an existing page.
  • Keep old templates only for legacy flows.
  • Do not publish templates without replacing sample content.
